GRUPO SAISA strengthens its presence in Aveiro’s Port (Portugal)

The SAISA Group reinforces its commitment to the Portuguese market and begins to expand its facilities in the Port of Aveiro. The investment of 1.6 million euros includes the construction of a new warehouse in the Solid Bulk Terminal, intended for the distribution of natural carbonate and sodium bicarbonate, which is expected to be completed in the first half of 2021. The Spanish group, which has been operating in the Port of Aveiro since 2009 in collaboration with Yilport, intends with this investment to reinforce its leadership position in the Portuguese market, increasing the efficiency levels of its logistics chain. The choice of the Port of Aveiro, by the SAISA Group, is in line with the increasing level of quality of service provided by the Port of Aveiro and its stakeholders in the solid bulk segment.
