Sustainability

At Saisa Chemicals we aim for a real impact. We work every day, in all our plants, to minimize the potential impact that our processes can cause the environment.

COMMITMENT

Working in the same line as our clients and our suppliers is our guide in sustainability. We are
part of the sector´s circular economy, directly and indirectly.

Sodium Carbonate is required in the process of production in glass and detergents industries.

Glass is one of the most sustainable products existing, 100% recyclable and can be re-melted endlessly for continuous use. This enables us to contribute to the reduction of CO2 emissions.

At SAISA CHEMICALS, we believe sustainability is not just a commitment—it’s a responsibility. As part of our environmental strategy, we have implemented a rigorous and transparent process for calculating our carbon footprint, aiming to identify, measure, and manage our greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions throughout our entire value chain.

This detailed analysis not only helps us understand our environmental impact but also enables us to identify concrete opportunities for emission reduction, process improvement, and the adoption of cleaner technologies.

We are also committed to regularly updating these calculations and communicating our results transparently, fostering an organizational culture rooted in sustainability, innovation, and continuous improvement.

At SAISA, we believe that measurement is the first step toward transformation, and that’s why we’re moving steadily toward a lower-carbon operation, in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the transition to a circular and climate-responsible economy.
