Logistics facilities
Saisa Chemicals has more than 125.000 square meters of logistic facilities in Tarragona,
Bilbao (Vizcaya), Aveiro (Portugal), Avilés, Huelva, Cartagena (Murcia) and
Casablanca (Morocco).
Saisa’s facilities are strategically located in the main bulk and chemical
ports in Spain and Portugal.
The facilities have all the necessary machinery for handling,
packaging and loading and unloading of trucks.
Tarragona
Entrevías Industrial Estate, Tarragona.
Facilities of 35.000 square meters and 20.500 square meters of facilities located in the Port of Tarragona, one of the main bulk goods ports for Spain and Portugal.
Has a total storage capacity of more than 50.000 metric tons of chemicals.
Its facilities allow us to offer our clients a comprehensive service: boat unloading, truck loading and unloading, automated bag and big bag packaging system, complete loading and offloading of containers, and facilities to handle solid chemical products.
Aveiro (Portugal)
Port of Aveiro. Solid bulk terminal.
Following the entry into the Portuguese market in 2009, Aveiro’s facilities are a strategic point in its activity.
They have a capacity of more than 32.000 t., covering the needs of the major Portuguese clients in the glass, detergent, cellulose and animal feed industry.
Has two bulk loading systems per silo as in the Tarragona and Bilbao facilities, ensuring quality service.
Cartagena
Port of Cartagena.
With a capacity of up to 5.000 t., the facilities allow to store Dense Sodium Carbonate in bulk to serve our clients located in Eastern and Central Spain.
Avilés
Saisa Chemicals has been located in the port of Avilés since 2020 to cover the need for sodium carbonate of large clients in the glass industry.
With a maximum storage capacity of 7,000 tons, the facilities allow us to offer our clients a complete service for unloading ships, loading and unloading trucks.
Bilbao
Port of Biscay. AZ1 Terminal.
Our facilities at the Port of Bilbao, located in the AZ1 terminal specialized in bulk, have capacity for more than 16,000 t.
It has a silo charging system, providing a quick charge, avoiding waiting times, contamination, etc., while optimizing customer service.
This facility is specialized in Dense Sodium Carbonate.
Huelva
Nuevo Puerto Industrial Estate. Port of Huelva.
Exclusive warehouse of Dense Sodium Carbonate, with a total capacity of 20,000 t., from where we directly serve major clients in the detergent and glass industry located in the south of the Spain and Portugal.
Casablanca
Saisa Chemicals started up in Morocco in 2018 as a centre of operations for the whole of the North Africa region. With a warehouse with capacity for 5.000 t. of Sodium Carbonate and Bicarbonate, providing services to major Moroccan clients of the main industrial sectors of the region.
